Saudi Arabia has asked potential bidders to qualify for the kingdom’s first utility-scale wind farm – a 400MW wind project at Dumat al-Jandal in the northwestern al-Jouf province, the country’s Renewable Energy Project Development Office (Repdo) said.
Repdo said the first step in the competitive bidding process will see companies requested to qualify for the wind project by 10 August.
