Italy's Enel Green Power (EGP) and Swiss-based group Seedstars World are underwriting a competition to find start-ups developing innovative projects in the areas of distributed generation, electric mobility, storage and energy efficiency in Africa.
The Africa Energy Track challenge aims to boost technology entrepreneurship in sub-Saharan rural areas, in line with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) including SDG7, which targets "affordable and clean energy for all".
