Nations including renewables pacesetters Germany, Denmark and China plan to form an Energy Transition Coalition to speed up the global shift to a sustainable energy future.

Indonesia, Mexico, Morocco and the United Arab Emirates are also among the first "high ambition" countries planning to form the pact, which emerged from ministerial-level meetings held at this week’s Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue.
