US wind and solar giant Invenergy and its CEO have been targeted by one of the world’s most notorious hacker gangs, according to reports.
Chicago-based Invenergy found unauthorised access to its systems in a breach claimed by REvil, which targets the IT systems of major corporations and demands ransoms to release data or prevent it being made public, said multiple media outlets including Bloomberg and the Financial Times.
