The V60-850 kW turbine has been designed to be suitable for Chinese wind and weather conditions with new features that include innovations in blade design and temperature control systems, Vestas says. It will be built at the company's new factory in China.
It is designed to be most effective in low and medium winds – which represent close to 75% of as yet unutilized onshore wind resources in China.
