An international team led by floating wind pioneer Principle Power is aiming to develop a new mooring concept that would make it possible to install units in waters shallower than 45 metres, opening up vast areas to development with a rapidly emerging offshore platform technology that has so far been generally pigeon-holed for deep water sites.
