The funding, awarded under IN’s Environmental Technology Scheme, will be used to fine-tune a lift-off system designed for dynamic transfers of rotor, nacelle, tower and foundation components from a floating feeder-unit during erection of wind turbines.
The IN funding will cover NKr5.7m ($980,000) of the project's total NKr13m cost.
