First Solar researching CIGS in Silicon Valley – reports

US photovoltaic giant First Solar, which makes cadmium telluride thin-film solar panels, is said to be researching CIGS technology at an unmarked Silicon Valley laboratory, according to reports in Reuters and a niche solar blog.
