Asian marine renewables developer SBS Energi Kelautan has taken a final investment decision (FID) to progress with the lead-off phase of its 150MW Nautilus tidal stream project off Indonesia.
The FID, which covers the 12MW Phase 1, kick-starts a preferred supplier agreement (PSA) with tidal turbine company Atlantis Resources, which is lined up to deliver 100 of its 1.5MW AR1500 machines for the three-phase development.
