The modules under the supply agreement between Borrego and Yingli’s US subsidiary are destined for US commercial projects. Other terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Borrego, based in San Diego, bought 10MW of solar equipment from China-based Yingli in 2010 and sees its business accelerating this year. Borrego president Aaron Hall praised Yingli, but also indicated the company will continue working with multiple vendors.
