The government trade body is investigating Chinese PV trade practices in response to an anti-dumping/countervailing duty petition filed by the US unit of SolarWorld and six other PV manufacturers on 19 October.
Organized as the Coalition for American Solar Manufacturing, the petitioners assert that Chinese PV manufacturers have benefited from illegal government subsidies and sold panels in the US below their costs to rout domestic competitors.
