US to have banner 2015 for new solar and wind - BNEF

The US will install a record 18.1GW of solar and wind generation capacity this year, while electric utilities will retire 23GW of coal-fired power plants, 7% of the country’s fleet, according to Bloomberg New Energy Finance.
