US on track to add 16GW of solar in 2016: GTM

The US will add a whopping 16GW of new solar capacity in 2016, more than doubling its record-breaking performance last year of 7.3GW. And by the early 2020s the US market will be installing 20GW or more on an annual basis, predicts GTM Research.
