Just over 30.3MW of small-scale renewables capacity has been added in the UK since April, with PV dominating the picture at 25.2MW, followed by micro wind at 4.1MW.
In contrast, the UK had about 32MW of installed PV capacity before the FIT was launched.
The installations since April will add just over £0.01 ($0.016) to the average homeowner’s electricity bill, according to Ownergy, a London-based renewables service provider.
