The Japanese automakers anticipates that the system will provide 25% of the power required by the new campus. The company will move there next year from California.
Plans call for three-phase completion of the system. The first and second phases will cover two parking structures – approximately 2.45MW per garage – and be online by August 2017. The final installation, located on a third parking structure, is due in operation for December 2017.
