In 2005 Lyon-based Tenesol was transformed from a parochial PV player to one of France’s solar stars when Total and EDF each took a 50% stake.
Total has recently made several attempts to take sole control of Tenesol as it looks to accelerate its exposure to the solar-energy market.
But EDF-EN shows no sign of letting go of Tenesol, according to local press reports.
