SunPower selling flagship 250MW solar project to NRG Solar

The solar subsidiary of major power producer NRG Energy is buying in to another giant US solar project. NRG Solar will take over ownership of SunPower’s 250MW California Valley Solar Ranch, assuming financing responsibilities as the PV project heads toward construction next year.
