The California company, a unit of French oil giant Total, lost $83.1m or $0.84 a share in the fourth quarter, an improvement on its performance in the third quarter. For the full year, SunPower recorded a $603.9m loss, $6.18 a share. Those numbers include a range of pre-tax charges, expenses and adjustments that totaled $91.3m in the fourth quarter, and $607m for the full year.
