The agreement will focus on US commercial and government project financing via the SunE Solar Fund X. In a statement the companies describe the financing as enough to fund “numerous megawatts”.
Through the Solar Fund X, SunEdison will finance, build, monitor and maintain solar projects located on the property of company clients. The clients will buy the output of the projects “typically at prices at or below retail rates”, the company says.
