SpectraWatt raises $41.4m as New York PV factory ramps up

US photovoltaic (PV) cell manufacturer SpectraWatt, which spun out of chip giant Intel, is filling its coffers with $41.4m in convertible debt financing from previous investors including Goldman Sachs subsidiary Cogentrix Energy, Intel Capital and the PCG Clean Energy & Technology Fund.
