Spain's T-Solar starts to make biggest PV panels

T-Solar says it expects to produce 700,000 sq m of PV panels with the potential to generate up to 45 megawatts equivalent module production per year. It also plans to eventually expand the line by 40% to gain further production efficiencies

The solar panels use SunFab thin film line supplied by Applied Materials, and the company claims they cut installation costs over smaller units by 20% when used on large scale solar farms.
