The company recently hosted Durango Governor Jorge Herrera at its headquarters in a “gesture of goodwill and full support”.
Siliken says it is in the process of obtaining permits for the solar park, which it expects to secure in four to six months.
If all goes as planned, a four-phase installation could begin next summer, using local workers.
