The 3,800-panel, 704-kilowatt array at LPS Industries, which makes packaging, sits atop a white ‘cool roof’, which LPS chief executive Madeleine Robinson says allows the company “to generate the most energy possible from our roof while reducing our overall energy use”.
The system, designed and installed by Solis Partners in cooperation with Allied Building Products, is expected to produce more than 825,000 kilowatt hours of electricity a year.
