The company says the 50MW concentrating solar power Termosolar Alcázar project would be fully dispatchable, thanks to the molten salt storage technology it licenses from United Technologies unit Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne.
California-based SolarReserve says the project won the tender “through a competitive bid process based on delivered electricity, price, technology innovation and the advanced state of the project development activities”.
