Nippon Solar Services (NSS) has chosen Daiwa House Industry to handle EPC duties for a 30MW PV project it is developing in Iwate prefecture, northeastern Japan. NSS plans to start construction at some point this year near the city of Miyako, which was destroyed by the 2011 tsunami. Hanwha Q Cells will supply PV modules, while China’s Huawei is providing string inverters, according to an online statement.
