The Coalition for American Solar Manufacturing (CASM), which joined SolarWorld in its October petition, shot back at allegations, leveled by a newer US solar group, the Coalition for Affordable Solar Energy (CASE), that its actions were protectionist.
“Trade law investigations are not ‘protectionism,’ and to say so is inflammatory and diversionary,” Tim Brightbill, a partner at law firm Wiley Rein and the petitioners’ lead attorney, says in a statement.
