Recurrent says it will build and operate the systems, beginning in 2012 with operations expected in early 2013. The company is planning ground-mounted projects on land leased by Recurrent from private owners.
One project, in San Bernardino County, will have peak output of 22 megawatts (MW). Two others, in Kern County, will have outputs of 6MW and 22MW.
Recurrent chief executive Arno Harris calls the deal a validation of his company’s approach to the California market.
