Milner has been replaced by chief financial officer Nedim Cen, a restructuring expert brought into Q-Cells in June 2009 to “comprehensively transform the business”.
Cen, managing director at the restructuring consultancy Alvarez & Marsal, will for the time being continue acting as chief financial officer in addition to taking on Milner’s duties.
Q-Cells has hired Alvarez & Marsal to help execute its sweeping restructuring programme, which involves cutting jobs and moving most of its production from high-cost Germany to low-cost Malaysia.
