Phoenix, based near Munich, swelled its full-year revenues more than 17% to €473m ($641m) on a massive increase in sales volume. The company sold modules totalling 202 megawatts (MW) in 2009 – a 70% increase – as consumers rushed to take advantage of Germany’s rapidly regressing solar feed-in tariffs and the industry-wide collapse in module prices.
