NextEra's Beacon Solar reaches California permitting milestone

California Energy Commission (CEC) staff find that the 250-megawatt (MW) Beacon Solar Energy Project can go forward, but with significant stipulations. This assessment moves the project closer to permitting, but it still must receive approval from the full CEC.
