Tariq Ali has resigned his position as head of research at the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) after just one academic year. Ali, who formerly acted as an energy advisor to the UK government, is said to be seeking other work in the Gulf.
MIST, which is run jointly with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, offers graduate-level education in renewables-related disciplines.
