JA, which has two factories in Jiangsu and Hebei provinces, will supply San Francisco-based BP Solar with mono- and multicrystalline cells throughout 2011, expanding the 85MW deal the two firms had for 2010.
JA, the world’s sixth largest cell maker, and the third largest in China after Suntech and Yingli, recently boosted its full-year shipment guidance to 1.35GW – a massive increase on the 509MW it delivered last year.
