Located near the Québec border, in eastern Ontario, the C$142m ($145m) Stardale project uses SolarWorld modules manufactured in Oregon, and is among the largest PV arrays in Canada.
Stardale was developed and built by Belgian engineering, procurement and construction specialist Enfinity, and was sold to Innergex earlier this year. The 39,000MWh of expected annual electricity generation will be sold to the Ontario Power Authority under a handful of 20-year contracts.
