German coalition goes soft on solar feed-in tariff cuts

Solar-energy companies around the world breathed a collective sigh of relief over the weekend as Germany’s new ruling coalition indicated that it will not slash the country’s solar feed-in tariff (FIT) nearly as brutally as was initially feared.
