The plan made public this week foresees 1GW in annual tenders for solar arrays for six consecutive years, and another 450MW per year for rooftop developments for three years.
The tenders will help in pushing France's cumulative PV capacity to 10.2GW in 2018, and to between 18.2GW and 20.2GW in 2023, in accordance with targets laid out earlier this year in relation to the country's energy transition plan.
