First Solar swings to $413.1m Q4 loss, cuts 2012 forecast

First Solar had a $413.1m net loss in the fourth quarter, or $4.78 a share, versus $155.9m net income, or $1.80 a share, a year ago, on lower product prices, and charges tied to an ongoing corporate restructuring and replacement of underperforming solar panels.
