The company does not discuss its total contracted volume, spokesman Alan Bernheimer tells Recharge. He adds that “a significant portion of our production has been sold to our customers and through our US utility-systems business”.
First Solar announced plans earlier this year to double its manufacturing capacity in Germany to 472MW next year and add an 118MW production plant in France in 2012.
