Solon, a Berlin-based module maker and solar-systems integrator, replaced Krupke with Stefan Säuberlich in January, after reporting a €195m ($263.3m) operating loss for 2009. Krupke, who joined Solon in 2002, will take on his new role at Engyco in April.

In January Engyco announced plans to launch an initial public offering on the London Stock Exchange in order to become Europe’s first “publicly listed solar utility”.
