The Paris-based firm commissioned the 12.6MW Loreo facility in the northern province of Rovigo and the 13.5MW Priolo facility in Sicility. The two ground-mounted arrays collectively soaked up more than 340,000 thin-film modules supplied by First Solar.
EDF-EN now has 59.7MW of installed capacity in Italy – more than the 54MW it has in the ground in France. The Canadian market will seize the second place ranking from France within weeks once the firm finishes work at three arrays there slated to total 35.3MW.
