The company would produce its thin-film flexible solar laminate products, under the UNI-SOLAR brand, used for building-integrated and commercial rooftop PV applications.
ECD follows other solar manufacturers, most notably Arizona-based First Solar, in setting up new manufacturing in France.
“We relocated our European headquarters to Paris last year, and believe it is now an excellent time to locate manufacturing in this market close to our channel partners and customers,” ECD chief executive Mark Morelli states.
