EC calls for €50bn investment into green energy

Annual investment into renewable-energy technologies and carbon capture and storage (CCS) in Europe must rise from its current level of €3bn ($4.4bn) to around €8bn in order for the EU to meet its climate and energy targets for 2020, according to the European Commission.
