All three projects are in North Carolina. Duke acquired them as part of the company’s recently announced $500m commitment to solar in the state.
For the 65MW Warsaw Solar Facility in Duplin County, Duke has contracted with Strata Solar in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, as the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor. First Solar will provide solar panels – Duke did not say from what plant – and SMA inverters from its Denver factory.
