Dominion did not make terms of the transaction public.
The facility in Los Angeles County is supplying electricity for about 6,100 homes through a 20-year power off-take agreement with Pacific Gas & Electric.
"Dominion is expanding our solar footprint while reducing our carbon emissions intensity," says David A. Christian, chief executive of Dominion Generation, said. "We plan to continue pursuing additional solar opportunities."
