The twin, 19MW PV plants will be built on about 187 acres (75 hectares) of agricultural land adjacent to a Southern California Edison (SCE) substation. The company is applying for interconnection with SCE and the California Independent System Operator.
Beautiful Earth, based in New York, says it is finalizing power purchase agreements for the project. The total project is expected to produce 32GWh of energy a year.
