New Generation Power Michigan would build 100MW of solar and 100MW of wind projects, at total estimated cost of $650m-700m, in response to the request for proposal issued last November by the utility, a unit of DTE Energy.
The Michigan-based or affiliated companies involved and their roles are:
- New Generation Power, prime contractor and manager;
- Patriot Solar, engineering, procurement and construction contractor and racking materials provider for PV projects;
- Martifer Solar USA, EPC for PV projects;
- Windemuller Electric, EPC for wind projects;
- Starr Commonwealth, provider of land in south central Michigan;
- Wanxiang America, PV panel supplier;
- Solar Street Lights USA, solar engineering;
- Anderson Environmental & Engineering, environmental permitting and assessments.
