Ontario-based Canadian Solar Solutions will use nearly 85,000 of its parent company's CS6P PV panels, both mono- and polycrystalline, for the two projects, to be built in Napanee and Thunder Bay, Ontario.

They are expected to be completed in mid-2011 and produce about 20m kWh a year over 20 years.

SkyPower, which describes itself as Canada’s largest solar project developer, secured project financing for the projects through Deutsche Bank.
