The 500MW Palen Solar Power Project, a pair of 250MW parabolic trough plants, is proposed by Solar Millennium, the project development subsidiary of Solar Trust of America (STA).
The Rice Solar Energy Project is a 150MW solar power tower plant proposed by a subsidiary of SolarReserve. It would have a molten salt thermal energy storage system - technology under license from a unit of United Technologies.
