Brazil's new plans call for 1GW of solar each year

The Brazilian government’s new plan to sign contracts for about 1GW of utility-scale solar each year through 2024 will not be adequate for the country to establish a thriving local supply chain that includes cell manufacturing, the Brazilian Solar Power Association (Absolar) warns.
