BP slashes solar manufacturing jobs in Spain and US

Oil giant BP’s solar unit is cutting 620 jobs in Spain and the US - with the heaviest reductions in Spain where it is closing cell-manufacture and module-assembly facilities in Madrid with the loss of 480 positions out of 575.
