Having fallen for more than two years, module prices actually ticked up modestly in the third quarter of 2010 thanks to blistering demand in countries like Germany, where consumers are racing to install PV systems before next year’s subsidy reductions.
Prices will remain flat throughout the end of the year, before falling a painful 9% in the first quarter of 2011 and another 6% in the second quarter, according to market researcher iSuppli.
